Loch Lomond Guides

Liability and Cancellation Policy

Clients should be aware that Loch Lomond Guides walking activities, some of which are in remote locations, involve a certain small element of risk. Bookings for walking tours are only accepted on the condition that clients:

  • are sufficiently fit to walk on uneven ground for a distance of 10 kilometres in a day.
  • agree to abide by the decisions and advice given by Lomond Guides’ staff.

We are sorry but we cannot accept unaccompanied children.

Although Loch Lomond Guides carries public liability insurance cover, we cannot be held responsible for accident, injury, loss, damage or costs arising from events beyond our control.

Where bookings are cancelled within 5 days in advance of arrival we will hold you liable to pay full costs. If Loch Lomond Guides have to cancel, we will offer you a suitable alternative or a full refund.

While we will make a full refund if we resell a cancelled booking, this may not be possible and we therefore strongly recommend the purchase of full travel and holiday insurance cover in respect of cancellation, personal accident or illness and loss of, or damage to personal belongings.
